Q1:

"Illusionist Digital Arts Studio " has been widely recognized in the industry and received great attention all over the world. Can you introduce the meaning and creative concept of "Illusionist Studio" to us?

When we look carefully around us, we can clearly see that we are surrounded by the magic of nature. We are a group of magicians with the ability to design and develop in a multidisciplinary working environment who are fed by nature and art. By reinterpreting the usual branches of art and show techniques through the possibilities offered by technological developments and digitalization, we produce sustainable content specific to the project and create "illusion".

Q2:

As an interdisciplinary team composed of animation artists, designers, digital artists, creative writers, concept designers, performers and coders. How do you come together and how are team members compatible and collaborative?

The importance of the environmental factor is undeniable when answering this question; there are also mass producers who follow our works, and those who want to be included in our team take steps to be part of our order based on cooperation. In the digitalizing world, multi-faceted productive people with similar concerns and visions meet under the roof of our office as a space that can feed their souls and minds. In this way, our young and dynamic team can offer creative solutions from different perspectives while expanding with multidisciplinary people who have the ability to focus on different areas. Another of the most important aspects at the point of co-production is creative meetings: An interdisciplinary execution style is maintained by assigning the tasks that need to be done to different people based on the division of labor.

Q3:

Your definition of your own studio is "a room for everything". There are four sections: green box space, character tracking technology, art laboratory and performing art rendering. Excellent project achievements have been made in audio-visual, lighting and the combination of new technologies. What is the inspiration of "a room for everything"? What kind of world or immersive experience do you want to create for people?

The design journey is immense. The process may continue until the designer says "stop". It is always open to development. Tools that can be used simultaneously in various scales and principles are indispensable in our studio. Most of the transfer tools that technology mediates us are available in the lab. In this way, it is not difficult for us to push the limits while producing original content. Enough places to be able to build bridges to reach anything desired are easily accessible in our LAB.

Q4:

In a multidisciplinary artistic atmosphere, illusionist did not follow the creative media of traditional art, but continued to make breakthroughs, using coding technology and character tracking technology to complete a series of incredible pioneer works. How do you view the relationship between technology and artistic creation? How do the two interact?

The content is examined in a multi-faceted manner during the concept design and process construction phase; detailed inquiries from scientific data to traditional art forms and even to the forms of application are made separately for each project. While these data sometimes guide us through the differences and similarities, sometimes they are just with us in the process as a mind-opening exercise. As it is explained in the phrase "one who does not know the past has no future," various methods and forms of application always play different roles in producing works that will remain with today's technology.

Q5:

In the celebration of the 60th anniversary of MESS, your project "human vs KUKA robots immersive" brought an immersive audio-visual experience to the audience. Based on the rendering of digital art, you use the robot arm to enhance the immersive interactive experience of the project. Do you think the combination of cutting-edge technology and art will have an impact and advantage in helping brand output? What are your different experiences in business cooperation and artistic creation? How do you balance the perfect balance between business and artistic creation?

As the illusionist team, we think and develop artistic production from a strategic point of view. Thus, we produce artistic content compatible with the target audience.

When we start all our artistic productions, we assume that we are looking for a solution to a communication problem, and we construct each solution over a communication message. This approach allows us to strike the balance between business and arts institution and create unique works.

Q6:

Due to the advanced technical equipment and experimental space, you will continue to carry out practical demonstration and adjustment before the project introduction. How important do you think core technology and experimental space resources are to the team? What motivates you to constantly explore new technologies and break through the limits of creativity?

Actively following technological developments activates our productive process to push the limits and explore new horizons. We think that every new job is a new challenge for us and we know that the solution is to push the limits. Therefore, we do not hesitate to start from scratch every time. Triggering continuous learning, advancing our techniques and ideas; we see it as an exciting discovery that keeps the process active. Re-entering the research processes are one of the most important features of our team. In this way, our design identity is constantly evolving with the opportunities offered by the digital world and the question marks that come with it.

Q7:

With the acceleration of the current virtual digitization process, in the environment of virtual digital art and commercial art, digital experience needs higher quality and more reality, and then it has gradually penetrated into our lives. What do you think are the obstacles or new opportunities to achieve this goal?

The design process is like an endless open sea; producing a project-specific content always comes after an active search. Technological developments are in constant development and we need to be following them closely. Day by day, we encounter innovations that may be beyond our dreams, and this affects our thinking system. To seize these opportunities and get rid of obstacles require dedication to keep a close watch and not stop learning quickly. Our team, which is always open to development, turns this into opportunities.

Q8:

Digital art has gradually attracted great attention from all walks of life in the world, and has been continuously applied to commercial projects, publicity and promotion, stage display and other fields. What new challenges and possibilities do you think the artistic combination of digital interactive technology will bring in the future? Illusionist studio has created artistic value and social influence. What more value and influence do you hope to create in the future?

We will continue to make illusions. Our goal is to produce innovative content that pushes the boundaries and captures the audience. In order to produce unique experiences, each of us continues to feed ourselves constantly and we continue learning by closely following technology. We continue to produce customized, innovative content as our intellectual and technical capabilities evolve. We think that the innovations we have introduced set an important example in terms of industry and art.
